The Persian Gulf War occurred in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. The war developed due to the United States concern with Iraq's position on Israel's-Palestinian politics. Also it's disapproval of the nature of the peace between Israel and Egypt.
Operation Desert Storm was defense tactic deployed by the Bush Administration in 1990. The U.S. placed over 500,000 American troops in Saudi Arabia in case of an Iraqi attack on the Saudis.

General Manuel Noriega was a military dictator in Panama from 1983-1989. After the 1989 invasion of Panama by the U.S. he was removed from power, captured, and detained as a prisoner of war. He was also flown to the United States. He was tried on eight counts of drug trafficking, racketeering, and money laundering.

Saddam Hussein was the fifth President of Iraq. He was a brutal dictator. He used fear and terror to stay in power. He led Iraq in the war against Iran and was responsible for killing 5,000 people in the 1988 gassing of the Kurdish town of Halabja. He was captured in December 2003. He was tried and then executed.
